Respected Members, Today was an eventful day at DBPC with the Eye Camp having 380 patients out of which 252 spectacles will be given to the needy and 49 cataract operations would be carried out. This was very much possible because of the efforts of the volunteers from the Day and Night School Units of DBPC. The selfless support of Mr. Subhas Khara from our Batch of 1973 towards this camp was the backbone for its success. The footfall for the camp also had a choc a bloc response for the Bosco on Wheels contributed by ?DBPC ALUM Subrata De? in this edition and a queue for the food was a constant feature till the end. We also had the Adult Literacy Program admission process going on simultaneously and with such activities the campus was abuzz with the Past Pupils of 1989 having their 35 year Reunion Family Lunch with teachers like Mrs Lavanya Bose, Mr. Wheatley, Mr. Jas and Mr. Sarkar gracing the campus. With Past Pupils coming together be it contributing with their time or their money or their planning skills, the Alumni is scaling heights with the Bosco on Wheels project completing a year on 26th February 2024 and Bosco Cares project completing it's anniversary year on 2nd April 2024. The Bosco Connects project is also shaping up with the Bosco fraternity coming together to help each other out professionally. Will keep you updated about the next exciting projects pretty soon. Regards, Vikash Choraria President - DBPC ALUMNI
